Guerilla Poetess.. stripped bare, no holds barred interview

This is the 3rd poem from Skylar and following below that, is her totally frank and revealing interview about her entry into Second Life and the world of Erotic Poetry.

~ Insatiable ~

Who’s on top?
It’s me
Then you.
Then me.
Then you
Flip me over
Upon my back
Give ass a whack
For being bad…
And ohhh…
I’m bad
You fucking know it
Your little poet
Is fire and ice
In strange proportion
There’s no distortion
And my tail wags
Like a naughty pup
With my ass up
And bite my lips
Then buck my hips
To take you in
And we begin
Your nails are raking
My box spring’s breaking
From the fury of
Your forward thrust
My breasts are propped
I’m owned and topped
PLEASE Don't STOP
But fuck…
And fuck…
It’s just my luck
You’re such a pro
And my friends know
My smile is earned
Oh how I’ve burned
To meet you, Lover
Here under cover
So take me
Take me!
You will not break me
Please stay inside me
Spur and ride me
Up.. up.. UP!
To heaven’s door
Land on the floor
And fuck me more
My want and need
Will never end
Collapse and then
I say
AGAIN!

The Interview

Suede Sixpence: okay.. so what brought you to sl and what made you stay
Skylar Smythe: I was introduced to SL by my ex... as a way of fulfilling social needs.
Skylar Smythe: I had written erotic since highschool. Secretly.
Skylar Smythe: When I got married, I stopped writing, but as I headed into my divorce 11 years later... I began to write again. I had not had sex for six years. Its hard to believe, but true.

Suede Sixpence: oh I can believe it

Skylar Smythe: The last six years of my marriage were sexless. I was faithful.. I'm not sure he was. In any event, leaving my marriage with the libido of a 35 year old woman...famished I guess :) The erotica flowed.......

Skylar Smythe: But our marriage had begun to end well before that.. I met me in here that were... supportive. And I was flattered by the attention I got in here, quite frankly. I began to share the erotica and the response people had to it was addicting...
the high of being at the microphone.

Skylar Smythe: There was a lot of backlash in 2007 to performing erotic spoken word
Suede Sixpence: really
Skylar Smythe: I was labelled alot of things, none of them true.
Suede Sixpence: you mean in here
Skylar Smythe: Tremendous backlash to erotica in 2007 and 2008, I had to face down alot of gossip. The obvious one being that I was prolific sexually in SL.
Suede Sixpence: yeah i do know about gossip here..
Skylar Smythe: Im a flirt :) Im a sensual personality... but in the 27 months I had been in SL, I had been/am partnered for 17 months of that... with some significant breaks in between of just dating... in world.
Skylar Smythe: I think I'd love to swing it like Marilyn Monroe but, I'm more a serial monogamist.. even in game hehe
Suede Sixpence: laughs, still better than me. I am single

Suede Sixpence: So back to the poetry problems in '07
Skylar Smythe: The poetry groups I encountered were not comfortable with the erotic genre, for the most part.
Skylar Smythe: Poor response in open chat (but of course.. TONNES of positive feedback by IM's from men and women too afraid to be ostracized for liking the erotica).
Suede Sixpence: yeah well that sounds typical
Skylar Smythe: I wanted to create a group of like minded people who would write and share erotica in a warm, open, respecting environment. Where kink was okay. Where fantasies were okay, the poetry groups I attended were using voice by the time I arrived in-world.

Skylar Smythe: My fantasies, in fact my entire sexual health was so neglected that upon leaving my marriage I promised myself that I would NEVER stifle it again. And I would encourage other people to feed their desires too..My method of emceeing the event was to interject... sultry comments and sometimes quite funny dialogue.
SOME LIKE IT HOT - EROTIC POETRY COLLECTIVE

Skylar Smythe: I started the show in 2008 to give erotica its own home and legitimacy. If we were not going to be accepted at poetry groups, then we'd have our own group...and it was extremely popular. A niche collective of incredibly talented erotic writers
like Fainora Pussycat, Bubbles Komanchi, Leonardo Zimring, Sabreman Carter and a lot of others. It is a COLLECTIVE because I didn't want people to come to "the Skylar Smythe" show. I wanted them to be embracing of a community of acceptance.

There was more to our conversation, laughs but it wasnt about poetry.. there were some comments about Jack Russell Dogs on Speed, Emerald boobies and Fugly Noob gangbangs.. you know what women are like... sniggers. I like Madam Skylar a lot, she is very talented and I am sure listening to her read her work out loud, to be blunt is a very arousing experience.

  1. Six years sitting on the sideline for me would call for a move into the most shocking adult video productions I could make, but your writing is very well done and of course hot.

The absurdity of tolerating people hawking Hitler youth outfits in a non-adult area (http://www.adric.us/wp-content/uploads/BLACKSS.jpg) while going all tight ass if someone reads about feelings we all have speaks for itself.
