Suede interviews Rosca Creations

Gaining popularity on the grid is this terrific new lapdance system, which involves a super idea where the dancer actually involves her client in her dance , by the way of both the pole and chair being scripted together.
The dancer can move between the pole and chair smoothly.

This new company is run by a joint owners Mirri Rosca and Tobias Houston.
Mirri Rosca has been inworld since 3-23-2007. Mirri is the joint owner of Rosca Creations and
Rosca's Bed & Bath shop. Her interests include building and animation.
Tobias Houston has been in world since 12-30-2006. He is the joint owner of Rosca Creations.
A scripter in SL and programmer in RL.

Suede :Mirri, you have a partner, a silent one I think. laughs, what can you tell me about him? Mirri: Smiles. Yes, Tobias Tobias Tobias Houston. He does usually prefer to stay out
of the spotlight. Besides being an all-around great guy and my best
friend, he is a very talented scripter with innovative ideas and turns
out to be a good business man, too. Our PLS pole and lap dance system
was his idea and he writes the scripts that make it great! I'm very
proud and happy to have him as a business partner.

Suede : Tobias, tell me about Mirri. What does she bring to Rosca Creations besides her name?
Tobias: Well, simply put I could never do it without her. I only do
the scripting, Mirri does everything else. Not only does she market
the system and create animations, she supports the customers, and so
on

Suede : The pole system you sell is very inventive, how did you come up with the concept of linking the chair and the pole together?
Tobias: *Laughs* Well, where could you possibly come up with such an
idea? I was watching a dancer in one of SL's counless clubs, and one
of the dancers emoted jumping onto my lap after I tipped her. I
realized that it'd be nice if she could actually jump on my lap, and I
couldn't lose the idea after that. I told the dancer my idea, but I
don't think she was as excited about it as I was...

Suede : No one else inworld has a system like this are you worried about copycats?
Tobias: Not too much. It would be a lot of work to copy it and you would have competition.















Suede : What is the main difference between the Home System and your Club System.
Mirri: The Club Systems have 18 pole dances and 11 dances and poses on
the lap dance menu. We actually have two Home Versions now. The
original home version has six pole dances and the same lapdance menu
as the clubs. The idea was that we could offer a less expensive
version for home with less dances than the club systems had. A few
months ago we added the Ultimate version, which has all of the same
dances as the club version with just one chair and pole. People had
been asking for this, so it made great sense to make it a regular
product and it has been very successful.

Suede : Mirri, I noticed you were a judge at the Sex Games event, was it fun?
Mirri: Oh yes it was a blast! I've never seen anything like it before.
We sponsored the dance events and I sat on the judges panel for
those, too. There was a nice crowd there, very vocal, and it looked
like everyone had a fun time!


















Suede : What do you enjoy about SL.. and what drives you nuts
Mirri: Tobias and I have both been in SL for years. Tobias is actually
a few months older than me. lol Which is to say we must enjoy it to
still be around. Speaking for myself, I enjoy being creative-
building, doing animations, and enjoy the creativity of others, too. I
really love meeting and chatting with people from all over the world.
Spending time with my friends shopping, dancing, exploring. Takes a
breath. What drives me nuts? hmmm Getting late night group messages
that our sim where we have our businesses and homes is going to be
shut down in 2 days. People who ruin the mainland for their neighbors
by raising bot farms, ad farms, and mega planks of astro turf covering
the ground for some unknown reason, and Security Fences . People
should realize that there is no privacy in SL. Your security will not
keep out anyone who knows how to use a cam. (Mirris steps off her
soapbox)

Tobias: All the bugs in the scripting engine drive you nuts when you
work with it.

Suede : Will you be opening a branch of Rosca Creations anywhere in Zindra?
Mirri: Never say never, but we aren't looking at Zindra at this time.
We concentrate our efforts in one location.
